You will visit the fringe of Isalo, tour the mines of and shop if you want for sapphires in and around the world's largest sapphire production mine (yes, the biggest on earth) and tour the Zombsite National Park with plenty of wild lemurs, some of the best community guides in all of Madagascar, and gaze at some of the best landscapes in Isalo and Zombitse, the Grand Canyon of Madagascar. Finally, learn about and see the postcard-perfect Madagascar baobab trees that dot the National Route 7.
