Day 1: Arrival in Moroni (Grande Comore)

Arrival at Moroni Airport, welcome and brief city orientation. Transfer to Itsandra Beach Hotel. Afternoon at leisure to relax on the beach.

Day 2: Mount Karthala Forest & Volcano Exploration

Morning transfer to the Karthala forest trailhead. Guided hike through rainforest and volcanic landscapes with opportunities to spot endemic flora and fauna. Optional visit to the “Dragon Path” archaeological site if accessible. Alternative option: lighter forest and beach walk.

Day 3: Grande Comore Island Cultural & Beach Tour

Full-day island tour visiting Iconi Mosque, local markets, historic villages, spice stops, and black and white sand beaches. Swimming and picnic stops along the coastal ring road.

Day 4: Coastal Boat Excursion & Beaches

Boat cruise along the coast with optional snorkeling and visits to secluded beaches and villages such as Bouni and Chomoni. Lunch included.

Day 5: Fly to Anjouan

Transfer to Moroni Airport and flight to Anjouan. Arrival in Mutsamudu, city orientation, and transfer to Livingstone Hotel. Beach relaxation.

Day 6: Anjouan Mountain Trek & Volcanic Lake

Guided trek through rainforest to Mount Anjouan’s volcanic lake. Endemic wildlife spotting and local lobster picnic lunch. Alternative shorter forest walk available.

Day 7: Domoni, Medina & Spice Plantations

Visit Domoni town, historic carved doors, Mutsa Medina, and spice plantations (ylang-ylang, vanilla). Beach stop with seafood lunch and cultural exploration.

Day 8: Isle de Sel Boat Excursion

Private boat trip to Salt Island for snorkeling, swimming, dolphin watching, and seafood picnic. Visit traditional salt production area.

Full-day boat excursion in Moheli Marine Park to spot dolphins, whales (seasonal), and explore lagoons and marine ecosystems.

Day 11: Turtles, Rainforest & Waterfalls

Visit Itsamia turtle nesting beaches, rainforest walks, Wallah Waterfalls, and Miremani cascades. Scenic coastal and jungle exploration.

Day 12: Moheli Cultural & Beach Tour

Island tour of Fomboni and Nioumachoua, local markets, mosques, historic sites, and Nyumashiwa islets. Finish with time on a secluded beach.

Day 13: Departure from Moheli

Transfer to Fomboni Airport for onward flight.
