Mayotte Nature & Culture Tour

Experience the natural beauty of Mayotte on this full-day guided tour. 8h30 Depart from the club de voile for the full day of Mayotte nature and botanic wonders. Drive to the Ferry terminal and take the Ferry to cross for  Grande terre main island.

9h30 The next stop will be provided in the local market hall to discover with your guide the main local fruits vegetables and spices used on the local cooking with maniocs, green bananas, cinnamon, ginger or pepper.

10h00 Proceed to the natural parc of pointe Mahabou. Visit the natural aspects and panoramic view of the island, see fauna and flora including local lemur mongoz and endemic birds such as Mayotte fodi, mayotte olive pigeon and Comoro blue pigeon. You can also see the tomb of sultan Andrianatsouli, historic king of the island

11h00 The tour continues to the southern loop of the island to see ylang ylang plantations forest and botanical garden of Coconi which is a natural site to discover endigenous birds and lemurs, see the Eco museum of natural salt in Bandrele where local women produce natural salt

12h00 Drive back to Mamoudzou and Stop at the restaurant for Lunch 

13h30 Return back to the pier
