Explore Grande Comore in a different way in just 3 days

                                        Upon your arrival at Moroni Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team, who will then escort you in an air-conditioned vehicle to Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort. Once you arrive at the hotel and settle into your room, you can finally relax and take time to unwind after your journey. The evening and overnight stay will be spent at Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort, in a peaceful and comfortable setting.

                 Day 2: Everyone is here, we begin the tours.                                                                                                                          

                                          In the afternoon, you will set off at a relaxed pace to discover some emblematic sites where culture, nature, and local legends come together. The visit begins with the Ithandara Palace, followed by a stop at the foot of the sacred baobab tree, a majestic landmark steeped in history and deeply rooted in Comorian identity.

                                          You will then continue on to the mosque and the tomb of the first pilgrims of the Comoros, peaceful sites that invite reflection and offer insight into local traditions.

                                           The journey then leads you to a volcanic salt lake, known for its naturally sulfur-rich waters, appreciated for their beneficial effects on the skin. Depending on the season, the landscape changes dramatically: during the rainy season, the lake shimmers with green reflections, while in the dry season it takes on more earthy, brown tones.

                                            This memorable excursion concludes at the Dragon Rock, an impressive rock formation that fuels local imagination. According to legend, a prehistoric dragon is said to have found its final refuge here after reaching the sacred island of the Comoros.

                                             At the end of the day, you will return to the Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort. Back at the hotel, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful setting and the gentle seaside atmosphere. Overnight stay at the Itsandra Beach Hotel & Resort.  

                Day 3:We enjoy Iconi and Istaandar one last time, then we say goodbye.                                                                            

                                           You will set off to explore Iconi, nestled between mountains and its historic medina, taking time to soak in the unique atmosphere of this place rich in history. The journey continues to Iconi Lake, a calm and peaceful spot, perfect for a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

                                            As the day unfolds, you will visit some of the capital’s most emblematic sites: the Comorian People’s Palace, the National Grand Football Stadium, and the Comoros Museum, where the history and traditions of the archipelago come to life. Each stop offers a deeper understanding of the country and its identity.

                                            You will then continue to the medina of Itsandra, an authentic district where time seems to slow down. Along the way, you will pass traditional houses and sites linked to local beliefs, reflecting ancestral practices and stories passed down through generations. 

                                             A lunch, included for the entire group, will provide a pleasant moment to relax and share. 

                                             After the meal, you will be transferred to Moroni International Airport, carrying with you beautiful memories and a final glimpse of the soul of the Comoros.
