Day Tour Mayotte: N'Gouja Beach

Depart late morning for a full-day excursion toward N'Gouja Beach, located on the southern coast of Mayotte. 

The day begins with a brief stop near the island’s mangrove areas, where you can observe the coastal landscape and views across nearby islets.

The tour continues with a visit to a local market hall, offering an introduction to commonly used fruits, vegetables, and spices found in Mahoran cuisine, such as manioc, green bananas, cinnamon, ginger, and peppers, with explanations provided by your guide.

Travel onward along the southern loop of the main island, passing through Sada, where local craft workshops may be visited, including those known for traditional jewelry techniques. The route also passes through areas of ylang-ylang plantations and the Coconi botanical garden, highlighting the island’s agricultural and botanical environment.

In the afternoon, transfer to N'Gouja Beach, a well-known snorkeling area where conditions may allow time for swimming and exploration of the coral reef and marine life. Snorkeling opportunities are dependent on weather and sea conditions.

Later in the day, transfer to the pier.
