Boats take a full day (12-20 hours to make the trip, and tickets are available in advance.) Please contact MTT for ticket delivery and departure times up to the date, or to make onward transfer or taxi-brousse arrangements.
The long distance boats include life jackets and do not sell food on board so you will need to bring any drinks and food for the trip. All boats leave typically around 2 times per week. You may charter the whole boat from us. Boats are generally cargo/passenger combinations and have a captain and crew there ahead of time and taking manifests before boarding.
No refunds or changes. This is not a luxury boat or a comfortable cruise, nor do people speak English. It is more like a bus, period. It will not be air conditioned, comfortable, or clean. However, it will be adventurous and safe and get you there.
