Mahe North Coast - Sailing - Snorkeling - Hiking Day Tour (Group Tour)

As we explore the flourishing island that is Mahe, we will head to island's north coast.

Undoubtedly, Mahe's largest attraction is the splendor of its coastline. It would be near impossible to be on Mahe and also not experience its incredible interior. As are many of the islands that make up the Seychelles archipelago, Mahe is covered in an incredible array of forests and mountains.

Today offers a wonderful taste of a bit of everything that the northern coast of Mahe has to offer.

Itinerary:

This morning you'll be picked up from your accommodation in Victoria around 9 am.

First up today, we will enjoy a very casual hike that will take us around 1.5 hours to complete. The hike is beginner friendly and offers an amazing opportunity to enjoy the geography of this region. From granite boulders to thick forest, it is easy to see why the island of Mahe is the most popular in Seychelles.

At the end of our hike, we reach the secluded Bay of Anse Majore where we will have a boat waiting for us - motivation at its finest!

As we depart the Bay, we will embark on a little cruise reaching the secluded bay of the Baie Ternay National Marine Park. The park is quite famous for its whale shark sightings as at certain times of the year these giant creatures are found feasting on plankton that accumulates in the bay. Surrounded by reefs, this is the perfect opportunity to jump in and enjoy the views under the water!

Snorkeling, swimming, or simply sunbathing is an absolute treat to experience here.

We will enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch back on the boat today before commencing our journey back to Victoria.

**Note: Excursion is seasonal Available from May to October only. Tour is only available on Wednesdays.

Reviews

“We only had 11 days for our tour in November 2013, and a varied program fully satisfies us (Tana-Ifaty with Manakara train). All activities were well organized. We enjoyed our Désiré driver. The hotels were both simple, but always correct; especially that of Isalo with beautiful swimming pool, with a very good guide for the Jerome Park. We were 5 people in the minibus, so the seats unoccupied areas, which was nice for these long distances.”
