For Tulear's Day Tours, here are the 3 main options, of which passengers can choose 2:

1. Ifaty and Ankasy (lunch at Ankasy) and spiny forest - this is one of the coolest-looking roads in Madagascar! Amazing trees and forest and excellent beach.
2. Anakao and Nosy Ve (Beach mainly, so this may not be as interesting for guests after all the sailing.)
3. Antsokay Arboretum, Bakuba Private Desert Garden reserve, Tuleart Recycling Museum, Tulear town tour, Ringtail Lemurs Visit at my friend's house (they are pets.)

Costs $140-500 per person depending on group size

For an overnight tour, this is another option that doesn't need a plane:

Day 1: Sapphire Mines at Ilakaka and Isalo National Park (5 hours by road) - overnight at Isalo Rock Lodge or Palace of the Queen/King Hotel.
Day 2: Isalo Park hiking and Bakuba Private Garden Reserve and desert plants in Tulear.
(Note this is a lot of driving and some walking and hiking.)

Baobab Tour

Day 1:
- Transfer from the Toliara port to the airport and fly to Morondava
- Lunch at Palissandre Resort and visit to a fishermen village and the beach.
- Visit to the Baobab Avenue with sunset
- Dinner and overnight Palissandre

Day 2:
- Optional sunrise visit to the Baobab Avenue
- Breakfast and transfer to the airport
- Flight to Toliara
- Seafood lunch and visit of the city center and
2 hours Antsokay Arboretum and (if possible with time) Bakuba private desert garden.
